10 Congress MLA wrote letter high command favoring Captain
10 Punjab Congress MLA wrote letter to high command in favor of Captain. Through their letter MLAs said that CM Captain Amarinder Singh is the tallest leader of the state party. He is the one who regained power after the Darbar Sahib attack ( 1984 ) and genocide of Sikhs in Delhi. MLAs said that the appointment of state PPCC chief was the prerogative of party high command but washing linen in public only decreased the party graph. Supporting MLAs said that to make the party stand stronger CM put his chair in danger but despite that, Navjot Singh Sidhu alleged Congress legislators. They also said that criticizing their own party will harm Congress in upcoming polls (2022). That is why they demanded a public apology from Navjot Singh Sidhu and also suggested high command to keep in mind the status and contribution of CM Amarinder Singh while taking any decision.
