Air India minimal jewelry no food advisory cabin crew
Air India minimal jewelry no food advisory cabin crew. On February 13, Air India issued the latest guidelines for its cabin crew. A few weeks ago (on January 20) India’s cabin crew union opposed Air India’s circular mandating body mass index (BMI) and weight checks for cabin crew prior to taking off the flights. Vasudha Chandna (Air India’s executive director for inflight services) issued the latest guidelines.
The cabin crew is advised to wear minimal jewelry to avoid delays at customs and security checks.
The cabin crew should not visit duty-free shops after completing the immigration process.
The staff will only wear PPE kits and complete checks before or within the given time.
The crew should avoid consuming beverages or eating food during or prior to the boarding of passengers.
Once the boarding process is completed the onboard staff should make sure that there must be no delay in closing the door.
After completing the check-in formalities the crew should move towards the cabin crew movement control office (MCO).
At MCOs, the crew should not wait for the flight commander to arrive, and instead, proceed towards the aircraft well within time.
