Bhagwant Mann CM candidate Aam Aadmi Party. On January 18, Aam Aadmi Party announced its chief minister face. Bhagwant Mann became the CM candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party. To decide the CM candidate AAP gave a mobile number so that the people of Punjab can choose a chief minister candidate for them. More than 21 lakh people voted and Bhagwant Mann got 93.3 percent votes. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that Mann is his younger brother and if he announced Bhagwant Mann’s name on his own then everybody would have thought that he chose his brother.
He can do anything to save Punjab
Mann said that it is a very important responsibility which the Aam Aadmi Party have people of Punjab has given him. He said that he can do anything to save Punjab. He will generate employment for youth so that they do not have to go abroad.
Punjab Assembly Election 2022 rescheduled
The Election Commission of India postpones the Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. Elections will be held on February 20, 2022, instead of February 14 because of Guru Ravidas Jayanti. 32 percent of Punjab’s population is from Scheduled Castes community who visits Banaras (Uttar Pradesh) on Guru Ravidas Jayanti which is on February 16. So different political parties requested the Election Commission to postpone the assembly polls.
