COVID guidelines released to reopen schools in Delhi from September 1 . Delhi Disaster management Authority (DDMA) issued latest guidelines on August 30 . From September 1 all government / private schools will reopen from classes 9th-12th . Delhi government also allowed other educational institutions from September 1 . Maximum 50 per cent of students per classroom and other educational institutions must follow COVID 19 guidelines . Thermal testing is must at entry gate of school , students are not allowed to share their stationary , DDMA directed schools to allow lunch break in staggered manner in open areas to avoid crowding . Teachers and students who are living in COVID containment zones are not permitted to come to educational centres . Every school must have a quarantine room for infected teacher /student shows symptoms at school . Double shift schools have to maintain a gap of at least one hour between both the shifts . DDMA also issued a checklist for schools before re opening.
