Delete social media posts 72 hours gave Bhagwant Mann. Since the Punjab government is making efforts to put an end to gun culture in the state, new orders released by the chief minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann. He said that 72 hours is given to people to delete posts from social media platforms in which weapons are glorified. One has to delete all the posts no matter whether that is recent or old. If anything is found after the given time they will not be spared.
93 cases filed in 6 days
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann gave orders to the state DGP Gaurav Yadav to release new orders that whosoever posted pictures or videos on social media has 72 hours to delete them. On November 13, the Punjab government released orders to lodge FIR against a person who glorified weapons in marriages, on social media, and at any public place. After this, 93 cases have been filed in 14 days, approximately six cases every day. (Dainik Bhaskar reported)

DGP Gaurav Yadav ordered three police commissioners, IG, and DIG including all the district SSPsto make people aware of the new orders. Whether the post is new or 10-15 years old, it must be deleted immediately from social media. SSPs will be assisted by SHOs to make people aware for 72 hours.
