Delhi govt will train 5000 youth assistants combat COVID. Delhi govt will train 5000 youth assistants for the third wave of COVID 19. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that during the first and second waves of coronavirus Delhi faced a shortage of medical and paramedical staff. That is why the Delhi govt came up with this plan under which candidates will be trained to assist doctors and nurses. But they are not allowed to make any medical decision on their own. CM Kejriwal termed them as “community nursing assistants.” Two weeks of training will be given by Guru Gobind Singh Indra Prastha University in 9 major medical institutes of Delhi. Training will be started from June 28. From June 17 through online application any person who is 18 years or above can apply for this job. He must pass their 12th class examination. Applications will be accepted on a first come first basis.
