Do not want Captain Amarinder Singh next Punjab chief minister. On August 24, 3 ministers and 20 MLAs revolted against CM Amarinder Singh after meeting at the residence of Tript Rajinder Bajwa (Sector 39 Chandigarh). Ministers claimed that they have lost faith in Captain Amarinder Singh, hence do not want him as the next chief minister. They said that the current CM is not taking any solid steps that is why the party is not making any development. People in Punjab are resentful because of party ineffectiveness in the state. 5 members of the delegation – Tript Rajinder Bajwa, Sukhjinder Randhawa, PPCC general secretary + MLA Pargat Singh, Charanjit Channi, and Sukhbinder Sarkaria will be going to meet Sonia Gandhi as soon as possible.
