Parag stated that the board, and he had many discussions about Elon joining the board. All the board members were excited to collaborate and believed that Musk will act in the best interests of the company. Parag clarified on Tuesday that Elon would be appointed to the Twitter board contingent on a background check and formal acceptance. Elon informed that he will no longer be joining the board, on the same day his appointment to the board was to become official effective, Parag told.
Elon’s input will always be valued
Parag stated although, Elon did not join the board however his inputs will be valued whether he is on board or not. Besides that, On April 5, he tweeted that Elon Musk is both a passionate believer and an intense critic of their service which is essential for the company and in the boardroom to make them strong in the long run. as well The company will always respect inputs from its stakeholders. Elon is the biggest stakeholder in the company he owns 9.2 stakes.
