Facebook sanctioned Taliban as a terrorist organization under United States law and banned them from services under Dangerous Organization policies. So, any account which is maintained by or on behalf of Taliban and prohibits, praises, supports,s and represents them, will be removed. Facebook also appointed a team of regional language experts to understand provoking posts. Dari and Pashto speakers will help to identify and alert to emerging issues on plate form. The social media giant said that they will not take action against any government in any country but instead respects the international community. They will only take action against accounts and content that breaks their rules. WhatsApp spokesperson also showed his concern and said that although WhatsApp is a private messaging app, action will be taken on an individual’s or organization’s presence found on it.
