Farmers Protest PM Modi repealed the three farm laws on Guru Nanak Jayanti. On November 19, PM Modi announced to repeal the Three Farm Laws on Guru Nanak Jayanti. Since 26 November 2020 farmers are protesting against these laws. PM made this announcement during an address to the nation. He said that farm laws will be repealed after following the constitutional procedure in the upcoming Parliament session at the end of this month. He felt sorry because their government remained unable to make protesters understand these laws. He asked the farmers to end their agitation and return to their homes. No doubt protesters are happy but they want the BJP government to withdraw the laws in writing.

They want a guarantee on MSP in writing.

Navjot Singh Sidhu said that it is a move in the right direction by repealing the Black Farm Laws.
Everyone’s thinking is the same that they want the repeal of these laws in writing, despite the announcement by the prime minister.
