Foreign nationals get vaccine India register CoWin passport needed. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted on Monday that foreign nationals can get vaccinated in India. The health ministry told that a large population of foreign nationals is living in India especially in metropolitan areas. COVID 19 virus can spread easily in these areas due to the dense population. To curb these possibilities vaccination of foreign nationals residing is very important. Mansukh Mandaviya told that presently central government is running a vaccination program to vaccinate those above the age of 18. Eligible persons can register through CoWin portal, their passport will be considered as identity proof and after registration, a vaccination slot will be given. The health ministry told that this initiative will provide safety from the transmission of this virus to unvaccinated people and further transmission of the COVID 19 virus. India has administered 51 crore vaccine doses across the country.
