German language will taught Delhi govt schools Manish Sisodia. On April 5, The Delhi government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement with the Goethe Institute. It will provide the German language course in government schools of Delhi. Manish Sisodia signed the MoU, who is the Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi as well. German is the global language that will provide global exposure to the students who are studying in schools in Delhi.
The pilot phase
The language course will be introduced in 30 schools under the Directorate of Education including Schools of Specialized Excellence (SoSEs). Students will be trained to strengthen their professional skills by the faculty from Goethe Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan. The collaboration between Delhi and Germany will create immense opportunities, Sisodia said. read more
Skill learning for job opportunities in Germany and EU countries
It will be beneficial for students to get familiar with the culture of a particular country, in addition, they will learn a skill that will open new jobs and academic opportunities for them, Sisodia said. German Ambassador to India Walter J. Lindner said that learning the German language will not only open jobs opportunities in Germany but also in EU countries as well.
