Hijab plea Supreme Court injustice religious values. The Karnataka High Court dismissed the plea to permit students to wear Hijab inside the class by saying that Hijab is not a part of the essential religious practice in Islam. The plea was filed by a group of Muslim students studying in Pre-University Girls College in Udupi asked the government to wear Hijab inside the class. The petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against the high court judgment.
Muslim girls felt “betrayed” after the judgment came- total injustice
Students from Udupi said that after the judgment came they feel betrayed because they had so much hope from the judicial system and constitutional values. Their future is being ruined
Muslim girls told that they were asking for the basic right to allow them to wear Hijab inside the classroom from the college but they had pulled it so long. They can solve it inside the campus only. Teachers put them outside the class which is ruining students’ lives.
The fight will continue till they got their right
Students said that they will continue their fight until they got their rights and will not compromise on it.
