Hologram statue Subhash Chandra Bose switched on again
On February 4, The hologram statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose has been switched on again at India Gate Delhi. The Central government clarified that it was turned off due to extreme weather conditions. The hologram statue is 28 feet-by-6-feet powered by a 30,000 lumens 4K projector. It will be replaced by a big granite statue of Netaji. Presently, it acts as a filler in place of Amar Jawan Jyoti for soldiers. The hologram statue was unveiled by Prime Minister Modi on January 23 on the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji.
Lying a foundational stone could have been a better option
Netaji’s kin Chandra Kumar Bose said that lying on a Foundation Stone could have been a better option instead of a hologram statue. He also asked on Twitter “why Netaji’s statue would be unveiled on a specific date at India Gate, Delhi? An unnecessary controversy was created over the vanishing hologram statue. Why could not the High-Level Central Committee meet to take suggestions?”
India needs an inclusive ideology
In another tweet he said, “Netaji cannot be honored just by building his statue, setting up a museum, or making a tableau-towering personality like Netaji can only be honored by following and implementing his inclusive ideology of uniting all communities to build India that he envisioned.” The nation cannot prosper unless we can unite all communities a Bharatiyas to take India forward. He said that befitted tribute would be to fight against divisive politics and ensure communal harmony across the nation.
