Afghan nationals travel India e visa official website. On August 25, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced that e-visa is a must for Afghan nationals to travel into India. Previously issued visas to Afghan nationals, who are not currently in India stand to invalidate with immediate effect, the government declared. Any Afghan national can apply for an e-visa regardless of religion. The official website for e-visa is www.indianvisa.online.gov.in, which will be valid for six months only. Ministry of Home Affairs reviewed visa provisions and introduced an e-Emergency X-Misc visa for fast-track visa applications for entry into India. Applications for online visas will be examined in New Delhi.
