Lakhimpur violence Ashish Mishra three day police custody
Lakhimpur violence Ashish Mishra three day police custody by the court in Uttar Pradesh on October 11. Ashish Mishra was arrested on October 9 for killing people at Lakhimpur Kheri. He killed four farmers, one reporter with his vehicles, and in reaction, farmers killed three BJP workers. Uttar Pradesh police asked for 14 days of remand but after 12 hours of interrogation on October 9 local court has sent him to three-day police custody. He will remain in police custody from October 12 to October 15.
Farmers leaders were continuously demanding Ashish Mishra’s arrest for murdering farmers heartlessly. They said that this incident is not less than the Jalianwala Bagh massacre in any way. As a result, they are demanding Ajay Mishra’s arrest and dismissal from his office as he was also involved in this violence.
Lakhimpur Kheri victims do not want compensation but justice
Advocate SP Yadav told that Ashish Mishra will remain in three-day police custody from October 12 to October 15 with conditions. Here are the three conditions, Ajay Mishra’s medical will be done, he will not be harassed and his advocate can see the whole process remotely.
Court sent him to police custody since he wasn’t able to clarify his location from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on October 3. Conditions don’t make any sense because the court has sent him to police custody after he was found accused. He should also be treated the same way as other accused.
Samyukta Kisan Morcha’s plan from October 12 to October 26
In a press conference, Yogendra Yadav appealed to the maximum number of people to reach Lakhimpur Kheri to attend the last prayer of the farmers and a reporter. He also requested every citizen to blow five candles outside their homes on October 12 at 7 pm. There will be a Rail Roko Andolan on October 18 and a maha panchayat in Lucknow on October 26 which will be exactly like the Muzaffarnagar maha panchayat.
