NEET UG 2022 registration date extended May 20
NEET UG 2022 registration date extended May 20. On May 16, the National Testing Agency extended the date to register for the NEET UG 2022. It is extended to May 20, earlier it was May 15. It will be conducted in 13 languages- Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. An application fee for general category candidates is 1600/- whereas it is 1500/- for general-EWS, OBC-NCL.
Why does NTA extend the date?
National Testing Agency (NTA) notified that it has been done in view of the request from the Director-General of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). Additionally, those students who want to pursue BSC nursing courses at AFMC medical colleges will also have to take the entrance exam.
Female candidates have to apply for the NEET UG 2022
The NTA stated that female candidates who want to pursue BSC (nursing) course at the Armed Forces Medical Sciences (AFMS) are also required to apply for the NEET UG 2022. They are required to apply online through https://neet.nta.nic.in. Furthermore, candidates can visit joinindianarmy.nic.in to get any information about AFMS colleges.
