Netflix dropped subscription plan pricing India

Netflix dropped subscription plan pricing India. To expand its user base Netflix has reduced its pricing in India up to 60 percent for the very first time. Monika Shergill, VP Content, India, Netflix, told in an interview given to The Hindu that users can experience Netflix on any device of their choice, that is why they kept the small margin between the mobile plan and the other devices plan.

 

 

Check the dropped pricing

Netflix’s mobile-only plan was available at Rupees 199 per month but will now cost the subscribers only Rupees 149 per month.

The basic plan to watch films etc. in standard definition (SD) on a single mobile, TV, tablet, and computer will cost the subscribers Rupees 199 per month which was Rupees 499 per month earlier.

To watch the high-definition (HD) content users have to pay Rupees 499 per month. Earlier, It cost Rupees 649 per month.

Rupees 649 per month to experience ultra high definition (Ultra HD), reduced from Rupees 799 per month.

The price change will come into effect from the next billing cycle for the old members. New members can get the plans by signing up for Netflix and get the plans at the new prices.
