PGI Chandigarh provides free tests less Rupees 300. On June 12, PGI Chandigarh Professor Vivek Lal said that patients could get their tests done free of cost up to Rupees 300 in PGI Chandigarh. This service will start in mid-July. Furthermore, it will lessen the patients’ financial burden and finish the long queues. This service will facilitate 2.5-3 lakh patients every month. Additionally, patients will get their lab test reports online. Financial Advisor Abhay Kumar stated that PGI gets an annual budget of Rupees 70 crore for tests. More will be demanded if it needs it.
