The theme for the G7 meet is B3W which means Build Back Better World. This project is expected a reply to China’s OBOR initiative. Through this project, western nations will fulfill infrastructural needs in developing nations and furthermore counter China’s increasing economic influence. B3W project will also focus on global recovery from coronavirus pandemic, climate change, preserving biodiversity, health, and gender equality. US president Joe Biden supported a unified approach to combat pandemics. At the G7 meet, leaders might sign a declaration on global health so that a world health care infrastructure can be built to react rapidly to future crises. WHO‘s director-general Tedros Andhanom Ghebreyesus also nods his head to this unified approach and said that the world needs a strong global system which will be helpful in the fast discovery of pandemic dangers.
