PSTET exam canceled reconduct without fees. On March 13, the Punjab Government canceled the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) after controversy. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann tweeted, “Paper leak means cheating on the future that shattered the dreams of youngsters. Our government is the government of youngsters’ dreams and hopes. Negligence and disturbance in Punjab’s TET examination will not be tolerated. I order the police to arrest culprits immediately.”

The Education Minister of Punjab Harjot Bains tweeted, ” To maintain complete fairness in our examination process, a PS level probe has been ordered to look into PSTET exam conducted by a third party with A++NAAC grade i.e. GNDU. Accountability will be fixed & those found guilty will be booked for criminal negligence.”
The Punjab government sent 36 principals to Singapore for training
“Further, GNDU has regretted & will re-conduct the exam without any fees. In future, have ordered my department to have a suitable clause for compensation in the MOU’s signed with third parties for compensation of the candidates in such a scenario. Why should candidates suffer.”
