Punjab govt not allowed unvaccinated public places. On December 28, the Punjab government banned unvaccinated people’s entry in public places from January 15, 2022. The Punjab government took this decision due to a new variant Omicron COVID 19. Haryana and Chandigarh also announced similar kinds of restrictions.
As per the orders issued, people have to take more precautions who are not vaccinated yet. All those who have not taken both doses of the vaccine should remain at their homes and should not visit a public place like- sabzi mandis, malls, restaurants, cinema halls, gyms, local markets, public transports, religious places, and functions with large gatherings.
In government offices, only those are allowed who are fully vaccinated or those who have taken their first dose and their second dose is not due yet. Restrictions also applied in private and government banks also.
