Punjab University Chandigarh providing hostels merit based
Punjab University has started working in general mode. All departments will start working in physical mode. Hostels will be given on a basis of merit as earlier, however, they have imposed some conditions.
Parents have to give consent that students will follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) released by the government and university.
They have to submit an affidavit through the department head in which it will be mentioned that students will vacant the hostel and leave the university accommodation.
Students must be vaccinated with both doses of the COVID 19 vaccine. For accommodation, they have to submit their COVID 19 RTPCR report not older than 72 hours before reporting to the hostel.
Visitors and guests are not allowed in the hostels until further orders.
