Rakesh Tikait appealing Supreme Court against Ashish Mishra bail. On February 15, Rakesh Tikait the spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) reached Lakhimpur Kheri to oppose Ashish Mishra’s bail. In an interview with NDTV Rakesh Tikait said that he will appeal against his bail in the Supreme Court of India. He said that people watched how a murderer got bail in just three months then there are a lot of similar cases pending in the high court. Politicians are taking political advantage out of it. He also said that the net slowed down when farmers had to present their side during the online debate. The debate could not be concluded hence, his organization will appeal in the Supreme Court.
PM Modi said that his government rolled back the contentious Farm Laws because farmers demanded but Ashish Mishra’s bail changed the whole scenario. People now know that it is merely a political stunt because, on the one hand, his government withdraws the farm laws whereas, on the other hand, they grant bail to the murderer in just three months.
