Reasons CM Channi contesting 2 seats Punjab elections Kejriwal answers
On January 30, Congress released a list of eight candidates in which it was made clear that CM Charanjit Singh Channi will contest from Bhadaur and Chamkaur Sahib in the upcoming Punjab Assembly Elections 2022. Earlier, he was contesting from Chamkaur Sahib which is a reserved seat but today it was declared that he will contest from Bhadaur as well. In 2017, the Congress party had lost its seat in Bhadaur and Aam Aadmi Party won.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that according to their survey Channi is losing from Chamkaur Sahib. Today Congress Party announced that he will be contesting elections from two seats. Does this mean the survey is true?
Punjab Assembly Elections 2022 will be held on February 20 and the result will be declared on March 10.
