Ukraine returned medical students enrollment Indian colleges
Ukraine returned medical students enrollment Indian colleges. Due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine Indian medical students’ education will be affected badly. To give them relief Indian government is planning to enroll them in medical colleges of India. Approximately 16,000 medical students returned from Ukraine. The central government will hold a meeting to make its decision to amend the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulation Act 2021. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will also write a letter to the National Medical Commission (NMC), in which they will ask them to amend the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulation Act 2021.
PM Modi slammed the previous governments for a large number of medical students who have to go abroad to pursue their medical education. Now, the central government is making a plan to give assistance to the medical students who returned from Ukraine so that their studies will not be harmed.
